    Our Story

    Over 12 years ago, when we purchased a new harvest table, my wife asked me if I could make wooden placemats for dining on our beautiful table. I began working with the help of a local sawmill to develop wooden placemats that would hold plates, cutlery, and glasses. This started our live edge journey as we produced more placemats, then began making charcuterie boards, and finally longer grazing boards. We exhibited at many craft events, both small and large, and developed an e-commerce website and workshop/studio for retail. It is a joyful journey for us to treat live edge Ontario hardwood with environmentally safe hemp seed oil and beeswax to produce unique functional works of art. Every piece we create is personally handmade with care and love, celebrating its particular uniqueness. We are an exciting story of a small business that we have created to share our artistry with our community.
